National Energy Conservation Agency (NAPE) was created in 1994 as an initiative of Polish Energy Conservation Foundation (ECF) and Polish Development Bank as the respond to the growing market demand for energy efficient investments in Poland.
The range of NAPE activity is formed of services, studies, programs and projects within all energy sectors, with particular emphasis on financial and organizational problems. NAPE's offer of services is dedicated to resolution of energy supply problems as well as to modernization of existing systems on both supply and demand sides. NAPE serves municipalities, companies, enterprises and budgetary units.

NAPE acts as partner for investors in modernisation of local energy supply systems through implementation of modern equipment, which uses biomass, solar collectors, heat pumps and traditional fuels.
NECA has collaborated with the PHARE and THERMIE, 5th and 6th Framework RTD EU Programs as well as with other international financial institutions.
