On the 5 and 6 November 2009 around 40 participants attended an Urb.Energy workshop on existing financing possibilities for energy efficient urban development.
During the meeting Mr. Wolfgang Schulz from the Ministry of Science, Economics and Transport Schleswig-Holstein gave a short summary on the selected results from the predecessor project BEEN.
Later on the Estonian best-practice project (BPP), one of the major results achieved in the BEEN project was presented: Ms. Mirja Adler, head of the housing division in KredEx, introduced the energy efficient refurbishment project of one multi-family building in Tallinn and the experiences gained during the implementation of the BPP. The participants had an opportunity to visit the building and to have a discussion with the chairman of the home owner association of the refurbished multi-apartment building.
The full documentation of the workshop can be found on the website of the project Urb.Energy.
